India is a unique country.There are many things that happen only in India.Where in this world can u find so many diverse cultures living together in the same country.We all should be proud of it.

                                        But there are also other things that happen only in India .One of them is ‘reservation system’.Where in this world  u will find that child’s future largely depends in which caste he or she is born ? It is happening in India.There can be justification in reservation for physically handicapped,sportspersons who represent country,economically backward,people who have suffered due to natural calamities or people who have faced the brunt of terrorism but can there be some justification for caste based reservation.

                                   Take this,a general candidate needs to be extra-ordinary brilliant to get into India’s elite colleges-be it IIT’s,IIM’s,AIIMS but other candidate of a particular caste just needs to be average.It does not stop here.There is a caste based reservation in govt. services.There are special recruitment drives on the basis of caste.

                                                                                  Why this injustice?Why is govt. punishing a candidate just because he or she was not born in the family of particular caste?How will casteism be eliminated in India if govt. itself makes distinction on the basis of caste?If at all India needs  a reservation system-basis can only be economic not the caste or religion.
